Why is it that some of us have no problem finding love while others are stuck on the sidelines watching? Is it a cruel torture? Does your Deity not hear you? Have you just been forgotten? I would have to say no to all of those questions. Often our greatest challenges are our most important lessons in life. I hear what you are thinking here, then my lesson must be to be alone and miserable, right? Of course not! But perhaps the lesson or the message is to look at things a little differently. Perhaps you are a very career focused person. There is nothing wrong with that! If you came into this lifetime with that as your intended focus then the distractions that come along with a relationship would not benefit your path. See? Not a punishment! With society the way it is, focused on sex and the insistence that something must be wrong with the person who chooses to be single, it is hard to move past that barrier. This is not about accepting and not working past a limitation, it is about working with what you have available to you to achieve maximum joy and fulfillment in spite of that limitation. It can be done! Don't sell yourself short! Evey human being on the planet has something to offer to life and to love. No one is "not good enough", but we all will have different contributions to this path. Find those things that are positive and stay focused on those things. Hold to you the unconditional love of the Universe and allow that to be the vehicle to move you forward. While it is true, that that will not keep you warm at night, it is a starting point, and after all, no journey can be traveled by sitting there and feeling sorry for yourself.
